Meet Maude! This pint-sized 3-year-old bulldog is as sweet as she is spunky. At just 17 pounds, she’s the perfect blend of playful (balls are her favorite!) and snuggly (she loves being close to her people). Maude does great with kids, dogs, and even cats, and she’s happy whether she’s cruising in the car, smiling for the camera, or stretching out in her signature frog-leg pose. She’s had a tough start in life but has come through with a heart full of love—and now she’s just looking for her forever human to adore.

Please note that these are NOT all of the dogs currently in rescue; we usually have many more bulldogs that have just not been listed on our sites yet.  Even if you do not see a dog that may be your match, you should apply to adopt and get the process started so that when your match does come, you are ready to go! If you would like more information on a particular dog, please fill out an application so we can discuss with you. If you are already approved, please check your email for a message from us or contact one of the B2TR volunteers you spoke with during the screening process. We have a special group set up just for our approved adopters where updated information on each bulldog is posted. The bios posted here may change depending on how the foster bulldog reacts in their new environment. 

If you’re seeking to obtain a cheap English bulldog or frenchie or you’re looking for a specific color/look or only want a puppy, rescue is probably not for you. Please consider providing a loving home to any bulldog who needs it. 

Our regular monthly adoptable bulldog meet-and-greets with the rescue bulldogs are held at Carolina Pet Pantry 323 Unionville Indian Trail Rd W Indian Trail, NC 28079 on different dates.  Please check out our Events Page for details.  

Please do not send messages via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram asking about the status of your application or for more information on a newly arrived foster.

Once you are approved to adopt, we will be happy to discuss possible matches after we have had time to thoroughly evaluate a new rescued bulldog.
