All our bulldogs shown here are currently in loving and safe foster homes. We do not have a facility/shelter. The best way to find the most up-to-date status and information on these and newly surrendered bulldogs in our rescue is by checking our Bullies 2 the Rescue Adopt-a-Bulls Facebook page.
B2TR has no perfect bulldogs, but many of our bulldogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those "Someones". Our most successful adopters come to us not because they want a dog, but because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a bulldog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
Step 1: Complete an application, taking care to answer each question fully. Please know that the application cannot be completed on a mobile device.
Step 2: A B2TR Volunteer will contact you to review your application and discuss our rescue with you. We aim to contact all applicants within 2 weeks of receiving a completed application, but please understand that we are all volunteers, with full time jobs, families, and other commitments.
Step 3: Following a successful phone screen, another B2TR volunteer will conduct a home visit. Yes, we do adopt to applicants who live outside our immediate area (although you will have to travel to Charlotte to adopt your bulldog; we absolutely will NOT ship a dog to you), and we have volunteers across the country to assist us with home visits.
Step 4: After a successful phone screen and home visit, we will set up a time for you to speak with the Founder and President of B2TR. It is at this time that specific dogs and their adoption fees will be discussed as a possible match for you, your family, and your lifestyle.
Interested in adopting? Please click on the adoption application button and note the application fee ($10 payable thru the Donate button). Adoption fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable. YES, We DO adopt out-of-state but you MUST travel to us to adopt. We do not transport or hire transporters. Not ready to adopt but want to foster? Please complete a foster application and note the location requirements.
When filling out an applications, ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE ANSWERED or else your application WILL NOT come thru to us. Please allow up to 2 weeks for a volunteer to call you for a phone interview. Be sure to check your voicemail and email!
